Register for AmOnline​

1. What is the prerequisite to register for AmOnline?
  1. You must have any of the below:
    • AmBank Current or Savings Account/-i that is linked to an AmBank Debit Card.
    • Ambank Credit Card / Card-i
    • AmBank Loan/Financing
  2. Your device must meet minimum system requirements. Refer to  “About AmOnline” FAQ for details.
  3. Your contact details such as contact mobile number and email address are the latest and correct with AmBank. Please visit the nearest AmBank branch if you need to update your contact details.
2. I have an AmBank Credit Card/Card-i but I have not activated it. Can I still register for AmOnline?

Yes. You can register for AmOnline and activate your card together.
3. How can I register for AmOnline?

You may follow the steps below:

  1. Browse the carousel and tap “Let’s Get Started”.
  2. Tap on the “Register for AmOnline”.
  3. Enter your preferred AmOnline credentials.
  4. Enter your personal details.
  5. Enter your card details / loan details.
  6. Check your email address and mobile number shown on the screen. If they are not up to date, please visit any AmBank branch to update your contact details before continuing.
  7. You will receive an SMS from AmBank containing the Pairing Phrase. Open the SMS and copy the Pairing Phrase.
  8. You will also receive an email from AmBank with the subject “Verification Code Request for Registration”. This email contains a password-protected PDF attachment.
  9. Paste or enter the Pairing Phrase from the SMS to unlock the PDF. Once unlocked, you will see the Verification Code in the PDF.
  10. Go back to AmOnline App and enter the Verification Code from the PDF.
  11. All done! Log in to AmOnline using your newly created AmOnline credentials.
  12. You will receive SMS and email notification on your successful registration.

4. Can I use any username that I wish to use?

Yes, you can use any username with conditions:​

  • Your username consists between 6 to 15 characters with combination of letters and numbers, without space.
  • The username is not used by others.
5. What is AmOnline’s password policy?

Your password must be 10 to 18 characters long and include letters (uppercase AND lowercase), number, and special character (e.g. !@#$%^&*()-+)
