We are delighted to unveil our Chinese New Year (CNY) Angpow Packet designs with the theme “Mountains of Harmony”. Inspired by the timeless symbolism of the mountain ranges, the imagery of “Mountains of Harmony” represents steadfastness, endurance, stability, strength, continuous epic journey and the enduring power of always rising upwards.

Through the infusion of the artistry of our Batik motif, the mountain ranges form becomes a unifying visual – connecting Chinese New Year and other festivities as one continuous journey of resilience, progress and shared prosperity.

On the reverse side, AmBank Group’s beloved mascot, Aman the Camel, appears as a symbol of perseverance and resilience, a reminder of strength through change and steady progress over the decades, alongside our communities.

At the heart of the main Angpow Packet design, the Koi fish takes centre stage, representing perseverance and prosperity. Paired with “福” or “Fu” boldly stamped on the Angpow Packet that mirrors the enduring strength of the mountains, it conveys wishes of good fortune and steady progress.

This Chinese New Year, AmBank Group is proud to present ‘Hundred Families Quilt’, a story about how abundance of hands, hearts and traditions came together to produce a meaningful creation.

Inspired by the tradition of Bai Jia Bei (百家被), where fabric pieces from different families are stitched together as a symbol of shared blessings, this film reimagines the cherished custom by transforming those pieces into an evolved version of the traditional Lion Dance costume— propelling the hopes, luck and unity of an entire community forward.

Each fabric is precious, every stitch matters and it is when we all come together, every single one of us becomes part of the celebration.
