Inspired by the timeless symbolism of the mountain ranges, the imagery of “Mountains of Harmony” represents steadfastness, endurance, stability, strength, continuous epic journey and the enduring power of always rising upwards.

Through the infusion of the artistry of our Batik motif, the mountain ranges form becomes a unifying visual – connecting Chinese New Year and other festivities as one continuous journey of resilience, progress and shared prosperity.

On the reverse side, AmBank Group’s beloved mascot, Aman the Camel, appears as a symbol of perseverance and resilience, a reminder of strength through change and steady progress over the decades, alongside our communities.

This Chinese New Year, AmBank Group is proud to present ‘Hundred Families Quilt’, a story about how abundance of hands, hearts and traditions came together to produce a meaningful creation.

Inspired by the tradition of Bai Jia Bei (百家被), where fabric pieces from different families are stitched together as a symbol of shared blessings, this film reimagines the cherished custom by transforming those pieces into an evolved version of the traditional Lion Dance costume— propelling the hopes, luck and unity of an entire community forward.

Each fabric is precious, every stitch matters and it is when we all come together, every single one of us becomes part of the celebration.

Koi Fish | Prosperity

The Koi fish has long been a symbol of abundance, perserverance and success. Swimming gracefully against the current, it represents determination and the promise of prosperity earned through resilience. The word “福” or “Fu” conveys wishes of good fortune, progress and a year filled with positive momentum.

Known as the ‘King of flowers’, the Peony is a timeless emblem of wealth, honour and abundance. Blooming in splendour, it represents flourishing fortunes and prosperity in all pursuits. The word “春” or “Chun” celebrates new beginnings and the promise of growth and vitality that comes with the renewed season.

Crane | Auspicious

The Crane is a symbol of auspiciousness, longevity, wisdom and harmony. Graceful and enduring, it signifies the blessings of an auspicious long life, peace and balance. The word “祥” or “Xiang” conveys auspiciousness and well-being, honouring enduring relationships and lasting prosperity.
