1. What is Pay Loans / Financing?

Pay Loans / Financing is a service that allows you to perform repayments for AmBank or AmBank Islamic Loans / Financing.

2. How long is the processing time for Pay Loan / Financing?

Pay Loans / Financing for AmBank or AmBank Islamic is immediate but it will only reflect in your statement on the next working day.

3. What is the maximum daily transaction limit for Pay Loan / Financing?

By default, the limit is set at RM 5,000.00 in AmOnline. However the maximum daily transaction limit can be set up to RM 10,000.00

4. How much is the transaction charges for Pay Loan / Financing?

There is no service charge for Pay Loans / Financing for AmBank or AmBank Islamic.

5. How do I Pay my AmBank Loans/Financing?
  • After login into your AmOnline, select “Pay and Transfer” then “Pay Loans/Financing”.
  • Select your account to deduct the funds from under “From” and then select your Loans/Financing from the “To” dropdown.
  • Then insert the amount you want to transfer and next select “One-Time” or “Repeat”. Please refer to “FAQ-Scheduled Payment” section for more information about “One-Time” and “Repeat”.
  • After that, you have to insert the transfer reference details for yourself and for the recipient. Click “Next” to review the transaction.
  • Select “Confirm” to execute the transaction. TAC is not required for paying own loan account, however for third party account TAC will be required.
6. How do I pay other bank’s Loan / Financing?

To pay loans /financing to other Banks, you’ll need to click “Transfer To Other Bank” and using IBG transfer. You can refer to “Transfer To Other Bank- How do I pay other Banks Credit Card / Loan Financing with Transfer To Other Bank?”.

7. Can I pay my AmBank and/or AmBank Islamic Loan/ Financing using a credit card?

No, you cannot make any payment to your AmBank and/or AmBank Islamic Loan/Financing using a Credit Card.

8. Can I perform Scheduled Payments for Pay Loan / Financing?

Yes, you can perform scheduled payment for Pay Loans / Financing. Please refer to the “FAQ- Scheduled Payment” for more information.

9. How do I view the details of my past payment transactions?
  • Select the account you want to view the detail in Account Summary page
  • Click on the top of account name example SA Basic to view your account details
10. What if I do not have sufficient funds in my account?

If you are making a payment, you will see an 'Unsuccessful' message and reject code that informs you of insufficient funds. If it is a 'Scheduled Payment', your payment will not go through on the scheduled date.
