1. What is Favourites?

Favourites works like an address book where you see your Profile at the top of the list followed by your Contacts. This area is used to save your account and your Contacts’ accounts so that you do not have to key in the account details again when performing transactions in future.

2. What is the difference between “Profile” and “Contact”?

Profile (You)
This section is for you to add accounts that belong to you. Accounts that you can add here are:

  • AmBank Account (CASA/Loan/CC/Financing)
  • Other Banks Account (CASA/Loan/CC/Financing)
  • Bill Account

Contact (Other than you)
In your Contact, you can add accounts that belong to that Contact. Accounts that you can add here are:

  • AmBank Account (CASA/Loan/CC/Financing)
  • Other Banks Account (CASA/Loan/CC/Financing)
3. I was using AmOnline before and just switched to the all-new AmOnline, what happened to all my registered accounts?

All previous registered AmOnline accounts will be auto-save to your Profile. To manage it, please proceed to Question "How do I manage my favourites?" for more details.

4. I’m new to AmOnline, how do I create a new Contact?
  • First login into your AmOnline.
  • Select the “Favourites”.
  • Then select to Add Contact.
  • Enter the Contact details; - Full Name, E-Mail and Mobile Number. Then click Save to create the Contact.
5. How do I add a Favourite in AmBank Account?
  • After login into your AmOnline, select the “Favourites”.
  • Then select your Profile/Contact from the Address Book which you would like to add the Other Bank’s account.
  • After that, click “Add New Account” and select “Other Bank Account”.
  • Enter the account details;- Account nickname, Bank name, Account number, ID type (Optional), and then click “Next”.
  • Review all the details is correct in the confirmation page.

Note: If the beneficiary’s name does not appear, you may still proceed to add as Favourite. However, please verify the details before proceeding.

6. How do I add a Favourite for Other Bank Account?
  • After login into your AmOnline, select the “Favourites”.
  • Then select your Profile/Contact from the Address Book which you would like to add the Other Bank’s account.
  • After that, click “Add New Account” and select “Other Bank Account”.
  • Enter the account details;- Account nickname, Bank name, Account number, ID type (Optional), and then click “Next”.
  • Review all the details is correct in the confirmation page.
Note: If the beneficiary’s name does not appear, you may still proceed to add as Favourite. However, please verify the details before proceeding.

Then “Request TAC” for verification and click “Save”.

7. How do I add a Favourite Bill Account?

You can only add favourite billers in your Profile. Not applicable to other Contacts.

  • After login into your AmOnline, select the “Favourites”
  • Then select your Profile.
  • After that, click “Add New Account” and select “Biller”.
  • Enter the account details;- Account nickname, Payment method (AmBank or JomPAY) Biller, Bill Account No and then click “Next”.
  • Review all the details is correct in the confirmation page. Then “Request TAC” for verification and click “Save”.
8. How do I edit/delete a Contact?

Yes, you can link your account in AmOnline . Please refer the following steps:

  • After login into your AmOnline, select the “Favourites”.
  • Select the Contact you would like to edit/delete.
  • Then click “Edit/Delete Contact”.
  • For Edit Contact, you can edit the mobile and email details
9. How do I edit/delete an Account within a Contact/Profile?
  • After login into your AmOnline, select the “Favourites”.
  • Select either the Profile/Contact that you would like to edit/delete.
  • Then click “Edit Account” to edit the details or “Delete Account” to remove the account.
9. How do I manage my favourites?

There are 2 ways to manage your favourites accounts; by moving to a “New Favourite” or to an “Existing Favourite”.

Moving your favourite account to a New Favourite.

  • First, select “Favourites” and choose the account that you want to manage. Click on the menu symbol next to the account and then select “Move To”.Clicking on “Move to” will reveal 2 options “Existing Favourite” and “New Favourite”. Select “New Favourite”.
  • By selecting “New Favourite”, it will show you the details that are required to create a new Contact, including full name, email and mobile number. You don’t have to fill in the account type, account nickname and account number since it will be auto-populated.
  • A new favourite Contact is now created. It’s now shown under your favourites list.

Moving your favourite account to an Existing Contact.

  • First, select “Favourites” and choose the account that you want to manage. Click on the menu symbol next to the account and then select “Move To”. Clicking on “Move to” will reveal 2 options “Existing Favourite” and “New Favourite”. Select “Existing Favourite”.
  • By selecting “Existing Favourite”, it will show you the list of your existing Contact. You just need to choose whether to move the account to your Profile or to any of your existing Contact, then click “Confirm”.
  • The account is now moved to an existing Contact.
