Extension of Application for AmBank Flood Relief Assistance Programme under URUS

Please be informed that the submission of applications for Financial Management and Resilience Programme or Program Pengurusan dan Ketahanan Kewangan (URUS) has been closed on 31 March 2022.

However, we are pleased to announce that for eligible customers from B50 Category who have signed up for the AmBank Flood Relief Assistance Programme, the closing date to submit the application for URUS shall remain until 31 July 2022, or upon expiry of the Flood Relief Assistance Programme, whichever is earlier.

Kindly take note all the following criteria must be fulfilled when applying for URUS:

  • Individual customers who are under an existing Repayment Assistance Programme provided by AmBank or any other banks as at 30 September 2021;
  • Customers must be under B50 Category with gross monthly household income of RM5,880 or lower;
  • Experiencing:
    • loss of employment, or
    • income reduction of at least 50%; and
  • With loan/financing facility that is still performing, i.e., not in arrears exceeding 90 days, as at the date of application for URUS.

For your information:

  • Eligible customers who wish to apply for URUS may do so via our Internet Banking or Mobile Banking channels, or simply walk-in to any of our branches.
  • To ease the application process, customers with loan/financing facilities from multiple banks will only need to apply from any one of their banks where they currently have performing facilities under an existing Repayment Assistance Programme.

We wish to advise our customers who are still in need of financial assistance but do not qualify for URUS, they are encouraged to contact us to discuss on other possible repayment arrangements that can be tailored to their financial circumstances.

We would like to remind our customers not to engage with any third parties claiming to be agents or representatives of the banks in relation to Repayment Assistance matters. Banks and AKPK do not appoint or authorise any third parties or agents to act on their behalf for this purpose.
